Pano Gallery - British Columbia: Sunshine Coast

When clicking on a picture on this page, a larger picture will be displayed; it's size in pixels is in the colum "Size of the posted picture". The file size in kilobytes or megabytes is displayed under the picture (some internet connections are too slow to display pictures of megabytes-size).

The pictures on this page are only thumbnails. The panoramas displayed when clicking on a thumbnail are still only a fraction (5% to 25%) of the original panorama; they don't show, how many details the original panorama carries.

Note, that panos are useful not only as aesthetic objects. The large images in JPEG format are very suitable for hiding large amount of data in the image file (this is called steganography). See the explanation atCryptoBola about how to use large JPEG images to make your secrets not only unintelligable but how to hide that unnoticably as well.
